A man wearing a top hat and a cloak approaches you. He opens a scroll, clears his throat, and begins to read:

Bandit attacks in the Elsir Vale have become far too common as of late, and tonight's incident is only the latest in the bandits' dastardly exploits. Brindol needs men and women with the qualities you have shown. If you find it within you to help, you will be rewarded most suitably for your service, in both gratitude and wealth.
Councilmember Troyas invites you to his humble abode tomorrow as Siberys holds aloft the sun (dm note: Noon). Details will be provided over the midday meal."
The man closes the scroll and hands it to Elaira. He tips his hat and says, "Good evening," turns on his heel, and walks off into the dusk.
