We arrived at the slavery compound. After a buncha humming and hawing, we ended up deciding to park about a mile up the mountain and walk down, to reduce the chance of our new airship getting carried away. Before we went down to the camp, I assumed the form of Agrawal, to help us talk our way out in case we ended up caught by their scouts. I told the others I was employing "powerful magic" to take his form. It makes me a little nervous to alert the others too much, but I may as well make use of my skills if it will help keep us all alive. We walked down and came upon the camp and Treble and Morangan went about scouting, as we watched through the spyglass that Colvin obtained from the ship. Things looked a bit dicey for a few moments as Morangan alerted the guards by mistake, but he managed to avoid drawing too much attention.
Treble came back and told us of the situation: a bunch of guys around the campfire, several in the nearby cabins, and a lodge full of another ten at least. The lodge goes back into the mountain, so our best guess is that the slaves are kept there. We quickly decided that we weren't well prepared to take the whole band on at once, so Treble decided to create a diversion. He went over to the pen and let the horses out. He told us that they were happy to stay inside the pen, so he had to use a little "incentive" to get them out of there. I think he might've poked one in the ass with his dagger. It whinnied loudly and 8 guys came from around the campfire... as they approached, we attacked. It was a bit of a scuffle, and Morangan barely managed to stay standing. Meanwhile, several of the guys were exchanging lewd comments with Aurora. We hung in there, though, and managed to finish 'em off.
The best part? These guys were loaded. Each of 'em had 2 platinum and 50 gold on 'im. We gathered 'round the flag for healing as we prepared to take on the next wave.
